Our Tours

Do you stop at the Hoover Dam on a Grand Canyon tour?

No, we do not stop at the Hoover Dam on the way to the Grand Canyon. However, we do offer a four-hour Hoover Dam Classic Tour which travels exclusively to the Hoover Dam.

Does the tour include food and beverage?

We provide unlimited bottled water on all tours. A light breakfast snack and lunch is provided on our day trips to the Grand Canyon.

Do you accept gratuity?

Tips are accepted and appreciated for a job well done. We suggest a 10% tip minimum which is industry standard.

Do you have to be super fit to walk the Grand Canyon?

Our day trips are not strenuous hikes, and typically you are given a few hours to move at a pace that is comfortable for you. Guests do not have to be super fit to sightsee on our day trips.

What are your pick-up locations?

We offer complimentary pick-ups. Please click on the link to view our pick-up locations.

What time does a Grand Canyon tour begin?

Our tours are described in detail on our website. There you will find the pick-up times. The times are approximate, and they are subject to change.

What items should we bring on a Grand Canyon tour?

Bring your camera to capture and preserve beautiful memories. A government issued photo ID is required for all flight tours. Other helpful things to bring are beverages with a screw-on cap, sunscreen, sunglasses and cash or credit cards if you are planning to purchase anything such as souvenirs!

What should we wear?

We recommend comfortable walking shoes and for the summer months’ wear sun block and hats for protection. Dressing in layers is also suggested as summer monsoon storms are common. For the winter months’ dress in warm clothing.

Is luggage allowed?

No luggage is allowed. Only small backpacks or handbags due to the security restrictions at the Hoover Dam.

What are the Grand Canyon Caverns?

The Grand Canyon Caverns are located halfway between Las Vegas and Grand Canyon National Park. The caverns are a naturally occurring, underground wonder. This is where our South Rim tours stop for a break on the way to the canyon. Optional caverns tours are available here for those who want to take one.

What is your cancellation policy?

We offer free cancellation up to 24 hours from the start of the tour. Cancellations received less than 24 hours will not be refunded. To be considered for a refund, please send your communication to info@grandvegastours.com.

Are there any additional fees or surcharges?

There is no fuel surcharge, and there are no other charges on the day of the tour.

What forms of payment do you accept?

For your convenience, we accept all major credit cards.

What is your policy on price updates?

All prices are subject to change without notice.

What is your policy on camera equipment?

If you have camera equipment, please make sure that everything can sit comfortably in your lap.

Do you allow alcohol on tours?

Snacks and non-alcoholic beverages are permitted. Alcoholic beverages are not allowed on our tours.

Our Grand Canyon Tour Bus

Is there a bathroom located on the bus?

Yes, for your convenience a restroom is located on the Grand Canyon tour bus.

How many people do your tour vehicle seat?

Our tour buses may seat up to 56 guests. We offer the small group experience in our luxury vans which seats up to 10 guests and for maximum comfort only six passengers for flight tours.

Do your tour buses have seatbelts?

Yes, every seat on the tour bus has lap belts. Our custom luxury vans have seatbelts and airbags.

Are your vehicles equipped for wheelchairs?

Yes, some of the tour buses are wheelchair accessible. Please call us to arrange a wheelchair accessible vehicle.

Does your vehicle include A/C and heating?

Yes, there are air conditioning and heating units located in the vehicles.

Does the bus have free WIFI?

Yes, the WIFI is provided free of charge, although it is dependent upon a clear cell phone signal.

Can you charge USB devices on your vehicle?

Our luxury Mercedes Sprinters include dual USB charging ports for each seat to power and charge passengers’ electronic devices.

How many people do your tour vehicle seat?

Our luxury passenger vans seat up to 14 guests.

Does your vehicle have seatbelts?

Our luxury Mercedes Sprinters include individual 3-point lap and shoulder seat belts and front and curtain airbags to give passengers a secure and safe ride.

Are your vehicles equipped for wheelchairs?

Our vehicles are not handicap accessible, so it is important that all guests have the strength and ability to lift themselves up in order to enter on and off our vehicles.

Does your vehicle include A/C and heating?

Our luxury Mercedes Sprinters are equipped with ceiling and floor heating and cooling vents for enhanced climate control.

Does the bus have free WIFI?

Yes, each Mercedes Sprinter is customized with a large HD video display, top of the line audio system, and a Wi-Fi system.

The Weather

How is the weather on a Grand Canyon tour?

The Grand Canyon has seasonal weather. Please check the weather report for Grand Canyon, Arizona before your visit. Sunscreen and hats are highly recommended during the summer months. Grand Vegas Tours may choose to operate all tours as long as the weather conditions do not pose a safety concern.
